The existing gel polish layer is gently filed down, cuticles are meticulously prepped, and fresh rubber base gel is applied to the new natural nail growth at the matrix, rebalancing the nail's structural apex before applying a new gel color and top coat.

Best For: Clients returning 2 to 4 weeks after a Rubber Base Gel Manicure who want to maintain the health, strength, and continuous growth of their natural nails without completely removing and reapplying the base layer each time.

How It Differs: Unlike a full set reapplication, a fill-in preserves the existing protective rubber base layer, reducing acetone exposure and filing on the natural nail plate. Compared to an Acrylic or Hard Gel rebalance, Rubber Base fills are faster, lighter, and keep the nail surface naturally flexible.

Rubber Base Gel Fill-In

Technique: Incorporates precision natural nail preparation, followed by the application of a high-viscosity, self-leveling rubberized base gel. This specialized gel is carefully built up to reinforce the natural nail apex and surface ridges before being cured under an LED light and finished with your choice of gel polish.

Best For: Weak, thin, soft, or bendy natural nails, clients prone to premature gel polish chipping or peeling, and anyone looking to grow out their natural nails safely without adding false extensions.

How It Differs: Unlike standard Gel Polish, which applies thinly and can crack when flexible nails bend, Rubber Base Gel contains rubberized polymers that flex with your natural nail to absorb daily impact. Compared to Hard Gel or Acrylic, Rubber Base maintains a natural, lightweight feel and can be safely soaked off with acetone without heavy filing.
